UK gospel songstress and MOBO award winner Lurine Cato has revealed her new single Be Loved, which drops next week.
The track’s written by Lurine herself along with Ian Copeland Green who’s also on production duties and sees her taking a slightly different approach to the uptempo lead singles from her album Chosen to Serve.
Lurine’s been called the Queen of UK Gospel – a name given to her by the Voice newspaper. Her ability to grace high profile stages is admirable – all while spreading a message of hope. She recently performed at the MOBO Awards – a ceremony where she picked up a Best Gospel prize in 2013. Now she’s gaining even more attention through her attention-grabbing music.
Be Loved isn’t an uptempo track when compared with Power and Wave It Away. But don’t be fooled – it isn’t any less arresting. Check out the beat. It’s got a captivating vibe, underpinned by some serious bass-heavy tones. The lyrics are an encouragement to never leave the loving arms of God. It will speak to people and it’s worth the listen. And we’re not talking once or twice either.
Be Loved is available on 9th February and is available to pre-order now on iTunes.
