Big Church Day Out is hosting what we think is its biggest lineup to date across two locations, the first of which is this coming Bank Holiday weekend.
Matt Redman, Jonathan McReynolds and Travis Greene are among those playing on the mega-festival’s main stage across the weekend. For King and Country, Britt Nicole and Housefires are also getting music fans expectant of what will take place over the weekend.
We’re particularly looking forward to seeing Kari Jobe. We’ve never seen her live but her music is always incredible. We already know she will be one of the highlights. While we’re on the subject, you should probably check out her hubby Cody Carnes who will also be there. Cody will be one of the many people on stage at Kingdom Come – Big Church Day Out’s brilliant worship experience. You’ll also find Kings Village, Lucy Grimble and Joshua Fraser there too.

We also recommend S.O., who will be one of two solo hip hop acts to take to the main stage. Since his move to the States, an S.O performance in the UK is rare these days. Make the most of it. He might even give previews of tracks from his forthcoming album. Who knows?
New things
Speaking of new releases, pop princess Britt Nicole won’t let her baby bump stop her from travelling from the US to hit the main stage. She’s another artist who has alluded us until now so we’re looking forward to Big Church Day Out to seeing her in the flesh.

Guvna B has just released a new album that represents an evolution for him. You’ll see him performing a lot of his new material for the first time on both the main stage and Illuminate stage. There’s also newness to hear from Joshua Luke Smith who will be moving crowds at the Illuminate stage as well.
A final tip from us, we’ve heard that the very popular but super secret silent disco from last year is making its return. The organisers haven’t spoken much about it yet but it’s worth looking in the nooks and crannies to find it because it was a lot of fun last year. The mainstay campfire is also back as part of the after hours activities. You never know who will show up to lead the sing-along there so check it out if you’re staying to camp for the night.

Big Church Day Out South takes place 26-27 May in West Sussex and Big Church Day Out North is on 1-2 June in Cheshire. For more information, go to www.bigchurchdayout.com
